anywhere but Pune. The same SWR People who according to you are apparently suffering via longer route would be at your throat for loss of Pune Connection.
Even this proposed daily train of yours should be via Pandharpur or some other place. It'd needlessly take up reversal slots at Pune. People of Pune are used to going to Mumbai to catch trains to other places, this wouldn't be any different.
Also the need is other way round. There's a reason why Secunderabad has GNWL Quota in Bengaluru Rajdhani or Sampark Kranti Trains empty out and get filled at Pune. Even SWR knows this 😂, even if you're not able to accept it.
Feel free to divert every SWR Train via other shorter routes. But do ensure that you have the capacity to fill it.
Have travelled a lot in Non Bengaluru Going Trains too, decided to share it once here. /blog/post/2314766 . Had the entire 2 AC Bay to myself from Mysuru till Pune. That too in peak Summer Rush time.
