i hold confirmed resvn tkt for travel on 26th Oct frm ekm to nzm, i wish to know that whether i can change the boarding stn to kannur nd can i travel up to kannur by any other train on 24th or 25th oct on the same tkt, anybody to please advise -bhuv batala punjab
1) No trains leave from EKM to NZM. Direct trains are from RU.
2) CAN falls before RU.
3) Assuming you have booked a ticket from EKM with boarding point as RU, you cannot make any further changes, as such changes can be done only once and is irreversible.

you can change the boarding point from EKM to Kannur but you can not use the same ticket to travel to kannur on any day or any/same train
Sir, he is actually referring to Ernakulam(people in Kerala usually refer to Ernakulam as EKM and Trivandrum as TVM).
His doubt is whether he can change the boarding point to CAN for his confirmed ticket from ERS/ERN to NZM and travel till CAN in other train without buying a ticket between ERS & CAN.
Answer- You can't travel with the same ticket in another train if the boarding point has been changed. You gotta buy a ticket for traveling between ERS & CAN..
