in present days almost all 3 phase locomotive sounds similar due to presence of VFD ( Variable Frequency Drive). it's basically a drive for motor which uses to control the speed and torque of the motor by varying the frequency. As you know if you change the frequency with time you can hear different sounds with time. The construction process of VFD is more or less same for both the companies. So you can't find any major difference in between those two.
