Can anyone tell me details about swarna jayanti trains? Reason of their introduction? How much swarna jayanti trains are running? Has any train discontinued? Please anybody give me detailed and full information.

2029/30 NDLS - ASR Shatabdi Express got the name Swarna Shatabdi when it got IRY/IR 20 rake. Later, It got renamed to Swarna Jayanti Shatabdi circa 2018 when it was given LHB rake.
AFAIK, this Secunderabad Rajdhani was extended to Bangalore and another Secunderabad Rajdhani(the present one) was introduced later around 2001-02.
Lucknow Shatabdi got renamed to Swarna Shatabdi when it got LHB rake( it was the original LHB rake being imported from Germany).

if this secunderabad rajdhani was extended to bangalore, then from where did 22693 Rajdhani come? 🤔
2493/94 Bangalore Rajdhani via - Kurnool Town came much later circa 2009-10, introduced on triweekly basis and the present 2437/38 Secunderabad Rajdhani Express was moved to other slot between NZM - SC.
