It all depends upon how well the rakes are maintained by respective cdo's.. In current scenario, even seshadri's rake is maintained once in 4 days only... in other words seshadri has 4 rakes and 1 rake is maintained daily at Kakinada.. As Kakinada's maintenance is decent enough, people of ncj /SR are nt complaining..

Similarly, even if RSA is established between island and sbc ncj (extension to cape can be considered in order to eradicate lay over time and enable rake switch), the combo needs 4 rakes and 1 rake can...

18:40(cape) 19:10 (ncj) 9:10 (sbc / svmb)

svmb/sbc ncj cape exp

17:15 (svmb/sbc) 7:40 (ncj) 8:10 (cape)

cape sbc island exp

10:10 (cape) 6:40 (sbc)

pros:
1) currently island exp is having large idling time at both sbc and cape ends. idling time at cape can be completely eradicated.
2) no additional burden on sbc / cape / svmb
3) efficient utilisation of rakes.. 4 rakes in place of 5 required for these pair of trains.
4) scr will be out of picture for sbc ncj between swr and sr.
5) seshadri exp will be free for rsa with other scr trains.
