On IRCTC website, if i am booking ticket for 2 ppl, and select option of "Book only if confirm berth is allotted" and 1 person is getting confirm ticket & another is getting WL/RAC ticket.

No any tickets will be booked and deducted amount will return to original source in 3-4 days
Any cancellation or IRCTC charges will be charged, or the full debited amount will be credited back ?
This option is best while booking tatkal ticket. In case of condition not satisfied, then transaction will be declined and any amount deducted, will be refunded to original payment mode i.e. 3-4 days for UPI payment & 7-8 days for Credit - Debit cards.
