The rake is exceptionally new, but maintainence is truly below average. You pretty much hit rock bottom when you're not able to make your stand in front of 2018 made CR Rajdhani 2A Coach.

Staff Behaviour: Ignorantly Arrogant. Although cheekily comes to ask for extra food requirement in the morning because of impending tips to come.
Shamelessly switches on lights at 6 AM, just to shove breakfast at you.
AC get's switched off right at 01:43 Hours in night. "Maintainence Guy" who's supposed to be doing rounds every hour, was in DEEP SLEEP, woke up after 15 minutes when a regular traveler Lady threatened to raise alarm and complains. He had an earful from me as well. Turns out AC for entire train was off and maintainence Guy was sleeping.
4. Food: Pathetic, I can expect Dinner to be bad because NR being NR. But breakfast was STONE COLD. For the first time, I couldn't finish Omelette in a train because it was so cold, dry and tasteless. And I've had really bad ones. CR Rajdhani food was at least Piping Hot if not that good in taste.
5. OBHS: At least these guys were active, more active than CR Rajdhani OBHS Lazy Staff. So full points to these people.
6. Punctuality: Got delayed by 30 minutes on the way but covered up in Mumbai due to end Slack.
8. Patronage is as always excellent.
There's something really wrong with WR nowadays, no single Zone has these many Tejas Rajdhani rakes and these people are simply taking it for granted.
Also to note: Humongous Patronage from Small Village Surat, Surat really needs an early morning Premium connection with Pune or any other City via Pune. Overtook Flying Rani Express just some stations after Surat and could see Large Crowd waiting for Flying Rani Express at ahead stations.

No point in using already tight slots of Surat for Useless trains. Better not make it a dumping ground.
Not that this train won't get patronage from Surat. But it'd be totally useless for it's main purpose - dedicated service to Delhi because of Maharashtra Darshan Route.

It's not that easy my friend. There are technicalities which needs to be addressed. Vande bharat might need bankers to move upwards and brakers probably to go downhill. Empty EMUs too are never send up without bankers. That was 1 of the reason for giving push pull to CSMT Rajdhani. How they will work it out that's need to bee seen. Probably a normal super fast is a better option with aggressive time table.

Then Janshatabdi is the best option. Isse normal+premium passengers dono cover ho jaenge.
10-12 2S+7-8 AC coaches will do.
