Nowadays in many long distance trains Economy type AC 3 tier coaches are added. but if you see the fare comparison between
AC Economy (3E) and AC 3 Tier the far difference is very less.

In 12621 from (MAS to NDLS) - All fares are general availability
AC Economy (3E) - Rs.2030
AC 3 Tier - Rs. 2140
Sleeper - Rs. 820

Fare Difference between 3E and AC 3 Tier - Rs.110/-

whereas In 2611 (MAS-NZM) Garibrath
Ac 3 tier - Rs. 1500

Similarly in train 16787 (TEN-SVDK)
AC Economy (3E) - Rs. 2650
AC 3 Tier - Rs. 2720
Sleeper - Rs. 1055

Fare Difference between 3E and AC 3 Tier - Rs.70/-

For sample i just compared these two trains which have 3E coaches.

Whether IR using gimmick words (to cheat) passengers by using Economy coach/fare.
