There is only one reason, which is that SR is again playing dirty to incentivise a new train.
They did it to Brindavan when DD was launched.
Now they're doing it to DD itself since VB is being launched.

Double decker could have been good cash cow but what spoiled it was the poor designed seats and paucity of space to stack the luggage. The overhead area for luggage is very cramped such that even a suitcase does not fit properly,
These dely for common people train is bad... the fare for vande bharat isn't any effcient for weekend travellers IMO. and now they have delayed whole schedule by 20 min - when it is used to coneccting train also for Tamil nadu exp. I recall Brindavan exp reaching 8:10pm back in days.
Aam Aadmi train is faster than premier trains,VB needs an infra which has 130+mps.now that VB is cheaper than shatabdi,shatabdi shall also be reduced pricing
