Brahmavart is a terminal one platformed station lying at some distance from Kanpur. It was left out after other tracks were converted from MG to BG but converted much later. Services started last year, I think from Kanpur.
Mandhana Jn is the point where trains to Kasganj and Brahmavart divert.

The lack of EMUs on CNB-LKO tracks make for unfortunate situation. I returned to Lucknow via Pratapgarh bound ICE and it was stock full at CNB only.
Does the old station lie at a physically different place or they revamped the old station and converted it to BG?
Old station is bit ahead of current one, near Ganga ji and without any Gauge Conversion activity . Link to Google Maps

I feel a regular connectivity to lko from BRT will attract more passenger and it will generate revenue for Railway. As of now trains are running at unscheduled time.
