This is pain when u said that other basic trains (as in SF or M/E express trains) are being targeted....

The point where u mentioned abt ppl living around railway tracks... I mean I feel that can't help it since higher officials try to find empty lands and if they find those lands where ppl live, obviously they can't tell them to move cause railway tracks r coming up.... so not sure abt that point....

The other point about fencing, I'd 50-50 agree and disagree.... agree part is, yes to avoid such incidents like stone pelting or cattle incident.. disagree part is, that as far as I know, especially under the VB category, I think most of the trains, especially from the NDLS trains, there r very good scenery areas which ppl would love to see, and if that gets hidden, ppl won't like it.... I do get it to keep to some height just to avoid incidents.... but that should be planned properly.... one such way I can suggest is that, wherever VBs are to run, increase the height from the ground level in order to "sort of" have a good view of the outside... I know that that's close to impossible but something can be done.....
