Train Number 07377/78 Vijayapura-Mangaluru Jn Express Special is the only train connecting North Karnataka and Coastal Karnataka. This single train connects famous places like Vijayapura,Gadag,Hubballi,Davanagere,Hassan,Subrahmanya,Puttur and Mangaluru and is also very useful for pilgrims who travel to Kukke Subrahmanya,Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala. But,recently some people have tried to divert this train via Madgaon Jn. For this oppositions have been made. As per my opinion, this train should run via existing route itself and it should be regularised and should be made to run at convenient timings.
