KamalMolla 156 blog postsWhy this line not extending upto Beliator. Just 15-17 KM work need to complete and may coast is not to be high for the new project. If the new line sanction then Raniganj Durgapur are connected with kharagpur and south india. Then why our MP/MLA/Railway not considering about the line.
Railways are themselves attacked in Bengal when they go to remove unauthorised hawkers from their own property and u expect development?
Greedy people of Bengal are never ready to give up their land for any project without getting crores as compensation, such mentality developed due to the MP/MLA who are manipulating the crowd to to protest everywhere, set up stalls & markets on railway property & the same MP/MLA are buying votes by distributing freebies to the dumb public.

You are right all education department is in the jail soon....but purulia and bankura all MPs are from BJP party. Most important think is Saumitra Khan's home town is Mejia. Who is a vice President of WB BJP party. Even Saumitra khan so much tried to connect the BQA-MSAE line at MSAE but he failed. I think all MP should be a educated and good social thinker, good political place with power then possible devlopment.
I give you an unfortunate instance.
Till date doubling of Burnpur-asansol section can not be done by railways.This is an urgent needs! Supriyo was MP once the project has been taken but vacating of railways land parcel has not been approved by local state administration (todays supriyos party) citing an excuse of projected inorderly lawless ness. Populism for encroachers prevails over development here.
Unless state govt consider the necessity of Burn-asn doubling over political opportunism the project will not see the light.
