Mas has terminal congestion, TBM is good developing terminal in South Chennai. which is going to get more pit lines so maintainence wise its easy. Tambaram connects IT corridor very easily so only choosen TBM over MAS.
After KJM, why are you skipping SMVB? better to give 10mins halt at SMVT and 5 mins halt at BAND for crew change
