Can any1 advise if there is direct metro service avbl from Chennai Egmore to Airport?
Refered Gmaps Blue line from airport will take you to Chennai Central railway station if u want to go to Chennai Egmore directly from airport change to green line at Alandur metro station.
Catch Blue Line from Airport to MGR Chennai Central Metro station and then from there change metro to green line. Just 1 station distance and you will reach Egmore Metro. Can also take auto from MAS to MS. Direct metro train is there from Airport but takes a more circular route via Green line, would take 10-15 mins more.

Yes. Direct trains are available. Cross sectional services connect Blue line and Green Line.
