Guys, i am going to travel by DEE-BDTS garib rath, to reach bandra, from there I need to catch Koyna expres for pune from dadar....I am planning to get down at borivali and catching a local to dadar.....as this would be my 1st visit to mumbai, kindly guide me through the process.. from where i will get a local ticket from borivali? will it consume much time? is the buffer time sufficient?? kindly guide me through other options and through the whole procedures.... note: I will be reaching on sunday morning and will be having 2-3 big bags....
Please understand that buffer time is a bit less. First of all, you intend to travel in Mumbai local trains at peak hour which starts from as early as 6.30 am itself. There will be too much rush. It will be very difficult to travel from Borivali to Dadar with 2-3 big bags that too in crowded locals.

Another option for you is to alight at BDTS and straightaway take a cab and rush to Dadar CR to catch Koyna Express.

don't take chance to travel in local on sunday as majority time there will be megablock on so many local lines so travelling may be so much difficult, take auto or cab from BDTS, usually garib rath comes on pf 1, so easy to go directly on road, take metered taxi its hardly takes 15 to 20 mins to reach DR, best of luck
Yes, Thanks for adding the MEGABLOCK factor on Sundays. I had completely forgotten to mention it.
But sir, sunday mega blocks in mumbai start normally after 9.30-10am before that they follow the normal holiday time table.. 12215 reaches at 7.30.. one can easily catch a train at borivali... since it is a sunday office rush will also be less... even u can catch fast trains comin from VIRAR which will take to DADAR in jus 30-35 mins...!!! :D :D
