I was a hardcore WAP lover. But one day feelings changed completely when I heard the musical tone evolved from a passing by WDG/P4s.. Its awesome :)
I love the honking and "schwik schwik" sounds of WDM Locos, although I am a Hardcore supporter of P-5s & P-7s ... ;-D
Yes Diesels were great in sound.. Missing those.. WAPs are silent killers..
Sounds of some Electric Locos like GZB WAP-5 are similar to that of roaring elephants which fall flat on out ear drums to irritate us (Actually the cattle on tracks) .... ;-)
