Ok , but is that practically possible.??. I mean look at this chain,
on one hand
There are two Rajdhanis which run everyday from Ndls to Guwahati,
atleast five express trains like Brahmaputra mail, North east Express etc which also run daily between NDLs and Guwahati. if tickets are not available in these trains, then do you think its possible to get ticket...

by breaking the journey in parts, which this train does.
If tickets are available in N-E between CNB and guwahati, then one can easily go for tickets between ndls and CNB in same train rather than going for different train.
My point is if tickets are not available in direct trains then its impossible to get in parts as u have said.
