Post 2001 Earthquake, Kutch area has gone massive industrialization, increase in migrant Labours and tourism round the year. There is need for various trains but very less increment in services. The trains that are given are in lieu of others or are at weird timings which do not suit the passenger class.

Below points to be noted.

state capital or any other major city of the state
2. Connectivity to the National Capital is only 1 daily which runs jam packed throughout the year.
3. Kutch area has 2 daily trains and 4 weeklies to Mumbai with lots of intermediate quotas reducing seat count for end to end passengers.

In my Opinion, There is a need to streamline services as below.

1. Bhuj to be a major terminus with 5 PFs and 5-6 Pitlines instead of existing 3 and 2 respectively.

2. Kutch/Sayaji to get increase in GN Seats and PQ, RL, RS to decrease by introducing a new daily Surat/Valsad to Bhuj/Deshalpur via WKR
.
3. AC, PNU Weeklies and WKR weekly to be clubbed into 1 daily train i.e. Triweekly SF via PNU-SIOB & AC via VG-SIOB and Weekly via WKR
.
4. ADI/GNC-Bhuj Intercity to run via PNU/PTN by extending Bhuj PNU intercity.

5. New Weekly RajyaRani trains from Kutch area to be explored towards Somnath/Porbandar/Okha/Palitana/Bhavnagar/Mahuva/EktaNagar for more connectivity for Pilgrimage and tourism centers.

6. Extend Ala Hazrat to Deshalpur on one side & Tanakpur on other side by running it as daily on single route via GIMB-VG-CDLB-KHDB-GNC-KLL-ABR-MJ-AII-JP-RE-DLI-BE

7. GIMB-JU should be extended both sides to Bhuj and CDG with route via GIMB-BLDI-JU-MTD-FL-RGS-RE-DEC-ANDI thus sharing load of Ala Hazrat and providing additional connectivity to Delhi and Punjab/Haryana
.
8. GIMB BGP to become a regular weekly train.

9. RSA trains for GIMB-TEN HS to be explored by reducing the layover at TEN from almost 33 hrs to 8 hrs.

10. Extension of Services:
a. ADI-MAS weekly via BSR to Bhuj via VG.
b. ADI-PNBE weekly via BPL-BINA to Bhuj via WKR.
c. ADI-NGP triweekly to Deshalpur via VG
