Let's keep it real, no part of India is ideal that's why you'll see public properties getting harmed everywhere and people targetting VBs etc but South India mogs North India by far in every single index and imposition of Hindi on South Indian States is also a real thing. A lot of North Indians expect South Indians to leave their native languages and adopt Hindi which is a total alien language for them and has no relation to other Dravidian languages, if you're migrating/visiting South you should learn their language, not the other way around.
