The train uses the Ernakulam- Coimbatore- Erode- Salem- Chennai Central- Vijaywada- Vishakapatnam- Bhubaneshwar- Kharagpur- Howrah- Rampurhat- Malda Town- New Jalpaiguri- New Bongaigaon- Kamakhya- Guwahati route of SR/ SCR/ ECoR/ SER/ ER/ NFR to cover the massive 3336 kms in 59 hours with 43 halts.
