To visit Talcher station, try Travelling in Hirakud Express, the train reverses in Talcher, You will get more than enough time to have a view of Talcher, U will be shocked to se the Number of tracks but there is only 1 platform in that station, 1 is for MEMU trains, any train goes there reverses direction,cuz after station, track goes to different mines,
@meghashyam1 The Talcher area actually have More than 15 Underground Mines, and all the Underground Mines are present in a stretch of Talcher to Sambalpur around 140 Kilometres, Coal are exported from Talcher to even upto Punjab
