What is the minimum gap between trains in the current automatic block signalling system in Indian Railways? 5 minutes or 2 minutes?

Is it 550m (train length) + 120m gap total 700m between signal to signal in block section right? I have seen trains in Gopalpatnam Visakhapatnam electric shed section standing 120m apart in line for block signalling 4 trains at a time max. When the first train moves certain distance the second one starts automatically and runs at 15kmph.
