IDEAL RAILFANNING SPOTS IN INDIAN RAILWAYS:
This is an endeavour to make a list of famous and accesible railfanning spots in Indian railways, so that list can be easily reffered by railfans travelling in a new section, I would post places near to my place, kindly add yours..
1.IN AND AROUND HYDERABAD CITY:
a) Secunderabad/kacheguda/maulaali stations.
b)
...
Hussainsagar junction, an extinct station 5 min walk from Jalavihar on necklace road, you can spot trains going from BMT/SC-HYB and HYB/SC-BMT and back owing to the triangle at this point.
c) High speed MMTS and long distance action can be seen between Borabanda and hi-tec city stations, road exists from Borabanda. Amazing place for capturing trains at curves high speed here, ample clearance for tripods too.
d)Sanat Nagar station for Diesel/Electric marshalling and heavy goods rake movement.Right beside sanatnagar flyover.
e) Malkajgiri/Budvel/hi-tec city stations for some hardcore diesel action. Charlapalli for a cool electric movement. All the above except Hi tec city are easily accesible by road and rail.
Walk down when you are free, during weekends or evenings and watch trains pass by in high speed, enjoy turning into a kid again..happy railfanning.
Cheers,
South Central Railways Fan

Thanks for adding, also most of the cases railfans also happen to be nature lovers, in that case as Shashank sir suggested the nature treks beside P.way would be great, i guess people do it quite often at Subhramanya Road..
In that case enjoy turning into a child railfanning and turning to a better person loving nature, after all we can become better only after we can learn to love mother nature..
