This will be MAS-Coimbatore. PM to flag it on 8-April i think. Saw few posts on twitter around this
Any idea abt the timings? Is it possible to have a morning departure from Coimbatore?
I think that is what have been hearing...to have opposite timings as Shatabdi. Leaving in morning from CBE and then reaching in afternoon from MAS. However with this the only issue will be that there will be pf turnaround in MAS and maintenance has to happen in CBE. CBE already has Bangalore-Double Decker and few other trains which reach overnight so not sure if they will be able to have space to park overnight and maintain. Will have to wait and see.
Tentative Timings of proposed MAS-CBE Vande Bharat Express
CBE-6am, TUP-6:30-6:40, Erode-9:17-9:20, Salem-8:08-8:10, MAS-12:10. 4 hrs 10 min with avg speed 80km/hr
MAS-14:20, Salem-18:03-18:05, Erode-19:02-19:05, Tiruppur-19:43-19:45, Coimbatore-20:30 arrival. Running time 6 hours 10 min
