there are no mobile charging points for side seaters (SL and SU) in 2AC as well as 3AC in this train.
yes, this issue plagues quite a few trains. side berths dont have charging points in 3a/2a. on the contrary, sleepers are provided with charging points even in side berths in quite a few trains !!
Members, please bring this to the notice of IR so that IR will soon install mobile chargers in side seaters in this train. This is long journey train and mobile chargers are important for this train.
well the problem is that 3a/2a has large windows and that leaves quite less space for mobile charging points. sleepers have spaces in between windows but 3a/2a doesnot have that. some 2a have separate windows just like sleeper but its tough again coz every coach format is separate. still i agree that mobile charging points should be installed on both sides. because charging your mobile in the opposite bay is some what interfering with the privacy of the main partition passengers. also already they have 6 8 mobiles to be charged in that bay. and trains chargers provide low voltage so takes double the time to charge each cell phone...
For ur kind attention, large windows are not the problem, coz i have seen mobile charging points in side seaters of Garib Rath trains. Garib Rath trains also has large windows and still they have mobile charging points in side seaters. This train is a long distance train and this train needs charging points in side seaters.
