Q1.I want to catch 12019 Howrah- Ranchi Shatabdi from Dhanbad Station which departs at 9:26 AM from DHN, while the technical hault of 12260 NDLS-SDAH Duronto at Dhanbad is at 8:53 AM. Should I take this risk??
Q2. I want to travel on 9th NOV and Duronto is fully packed with WL282 in 3AC, I am waiting for Tatkal. Is it possible to get a Tatkal ticket with only 60 births allocated to 3AC??

Try direct trains to Ranchi from Delhi, Garib rath & Rajdhani runs with Extra Coaches at such peak period.
Actually my brother is not getting holiday for Friday, his office hour is upto 6 PM :(
I can go with 13551 DHN-Allepey from Dhanbad. Its departure time is 10.50.
Its very very risky...
though its avg. speed is fastest but it hardly runs on time. better you do not take the risk and miss the next train.
getting tatkal in this diwali rush in any train is an achievement in itself. you can try your luck :)
