Great
So the Mohanpur-Hansdiha line is now open!
What is the progress of the Jasidih byepass line, that would allow seamless movement of traffic from Asansol, Dhanbad side into Dumka, Hansdiha Godda and other stations of Santhal Pargana.
What is the progress of the other lines in the proposed Power Corridor?

I thought BWCN-KAN line has been abandoned, but I heard that the project is being considered again, and funds have been allocated. However given the apathy of the central government towards WB as a whole, I doubt the project will be done in the coming 5-10 years.

Useful
Deoghar: Railways has started the work of Deoghar-Jasidih rail bypass to go directly to Rohini from Deoghar station. An additional new railway line is being built along the Deoghar railway line at a total cost of Rs 60 crore. This rail line will be connected to Jasidih-Asansol rail section. The construction work will be completed by September 2024. A total of 4.5 kilometers of new railway line will be laid, in which a total of 11 bridges will be extended. A new bridge will be built at a distance of 15 meters from the old bridge on Deoghar-Jasidih road. Apart from this, overbridges will also be built in Baidyanathdham line and Pagal Baba Road, here the trains coming from Deoghar will pass below and join the Jasidih-Asansol railway line via Raidih and Amarpur and the train will go directly towards Rohini. Trains coming to and from Deoghar will save time by...

changing engines at Jasidih station. People of Jasidih area can board these trains from Rohini station. According to the Railways, currently the work of earth filling and box cutting is going on, after that the work of building the bridge as well as laying the lines at the remaining places will be started. Electrification work will be done in this project. In view of the burden of long distance trains at Jasidih station and the problem of changing engines, Godda MP Dr. Nishikant Dubey had proposed the project of Deoghar-Jasidih rail bypass to the Railway Minister two years ago, after which budgetary provisions were made to implement this project. Approval was given. Land acquisition work for this 4.5 kilometer railway line has been completed.
