Visakhapatnam bound one seems to be doing good and arriving mostly on-time.
SCR needs to somehow find a solution for this.
The congestion happens starting Rajahmundry, then Vijayawada and continues to Warangal/Secunderabad section.

This is common from last 6 months all night trains to SC from BZA line are late by 30-60 mins. Nowadays Even SC outbound trains to Vskp are also late by 30 mins on 3-4 out of 7 days.
The problem is because of VB. They are using Road CUM Rail bridge for VB to enter on PF 3 at RJY. Till that time, all the down trains are waiting at RJY.
Why any particular reason ? rail cum road bridge is fit for only 60kmph and when the train approaches near to road bridge end the speed has to come down to 15kmph upto PF. Even changing line at Kovvur need to be down to 15kmph.- 30kmph On the third bridge the MPS is 80kmph and even after that past godavari Stn it can travel at 60kmph.
I think there is a long PSR before RJY from 3rd bridge and also Road cum rail bridge is shorter distance. Just because of priority, it seems.
