Listen, they're saying that there are some problems with the train going to Chennai central (MAS) and they recommend that it should be extended to Tambaram via Chennai Egmore. They're really desperate for a third night train going from Chennai to Bangalore after the Kaveri Express and the SBC Mail. Right now there's only two trains that do that route. This train could run on the remaining 5 days to cover for it. Plus, this new route will have a great connection between southern Chennai and Bangalore. Here are the timings: It currently arrives at MAS at 4:55 am but it can now stop at Perambur before going to MS at 5:15-5:25am and finally to TBM at 6:00 am. For the return, it will leave TBM at 10:30 pm and go to MS at 10:55 - 11:05 pm.
