How can 2 SL is sufficient for long distance trains ? Whether IR conducted any surveys for reducing SL class?

Correct, nowadays I prefer to travel in 3A / 2A only as traveling in SL is nightmare & also changed my preference from SLB to either UB or SUB

I was on tour last month to Shirdi ,SL resembled 2s ,Ac3,was packed full with paxand /AC 2 was okay

When 2 SL comes into force then 3AC travellers should upgrade to 2AC to avoid crowd. You will see GS travellers in 3AC. Visakha ecp from SC to Bhubaneswar is running with 2SL and when it comes to Vskp towards BBS there is no place to board GS and SL. Slowly these I'll board 3AC. It was reported in local newspaper with photos 2 times in February. Meanwhile GM.of SCR gives press briefings that 3AC is being preferred by travellers for comfort and ignore SL WL of 150-200 both in general and tatkal for quota of 80.
