According to national media reports, 207+ passengers died and 900+ injured in the deadly rail collision that happened yesterday.

This is probably the worst railway disaster in India since 1999 Gaisal disaster which killed around 300 people as per official death toll. I don't think any other accident post year 2000 had 200+ casualties as official toll.
