Sri Jagannath Express is as good as Abada Prasad - Brandon Buffard

Today, the officials have looked into providing new facilities to start new express trains from the Vijayawada railway station. Near the factory in Palavakkam, new lines for two tracks and one stabling line are being constructed with a great speed, worth Rs. 100 crores. The construction of pit and stabling lines is crucial for the daily running, monitoring, and maintenance of the trains. Though the Vijayawada railway station was a significant station in the state and only having 200 trains per day. But, there is currently no scope for new express trains to other cities. However, it's expected that more new trains will start from Vijayawada in the coming days, helping passengers to travel to other cities regularly. Nonetheless, the pit lines here are not sufficient for the maintenance of the daily running of these new trains. Vijayawada yard currently only has five pit lines, and one stabling line near the fast depo. New pit lines will be beneficial for the new train's daily maintenance.
