Thanks now added, in my opinion, these incidents will only continue rising until the monsoons arrive. The glaring incompetence and and inefficiencies will only get amplified under the scorching Sun and high temperatures!

Odisha really sticking out as sore thumb here. The repetition is frankly very alarming! It is either an Odisha bound train or the incident is happening in Odisha!

Monsoons present some other challenges too like landslides in Ghat sections and tracks being flooded. But still it's my observation that Railway staff is more alert in the monsoons coz they know the dangers and kudos 👏 to the low level staff who work pretty hard in heavy rains and thunderstorms to keep us safe.
Also i see SWR undertaking precautionary maintenance works before monsoons in Ghat sections, bridges and other vulnerable sections. I'm sure all other zones do it too.

Oh, I nearly forgot, we had a similar incident the BBS Rajdhani one between GMO and DHN stations few days back, though in that case the train had stopped after successful application of emergency brakes...
