Actually I thought the person is smoking, after seeing the vdo , he is brushing!!!
Wdym? This is the door of the coach itself. Of course it has door. But it didn’t have doors for individual coupe like 1AC. Even 3 AC has the coach door. Curtains were removed from 2AC and 3AC by IR showing various reasons. Edit : Ah I see what you mean, the last part of the video. No, that was not the norm in 1990s at least. That may be a one of a kind special coach. Probably it was a former first class or 1 AC compartment converted to 2AC by IR
han vaise baat toh sahi hai icf mei jab ham ac se travel krte the toh alag hi vibe aati thi .. ami yeh nhi keh rha ki lhb acha nhi hai ... acha hai but icf k time mei extra crowd nhi hota tha jo ki ab hota hai ........
icf 2ac with brown seats and yellow reading light is just awesome

It's not because of ICF or LHB, it is because AC in 1990s was a privilege. Many trains didn't have AC and those that had only had 2-3 AC coaches apart from Rajdhanis and other premium trains. Even Rajdhani doesn't feel like Rajdhani anymore. When LHB was introduced in Mumbai Rajdhani in 2000 and Kolkata Rajdhani in 2006 it was really good but now because of crowding, deterioration of services etc. it is not so great. Since 2010 or so crowding has increased tremendously in AC coaches and almost all trains now have 50-60% AC coaches, so not special anymore.
