BPL-INDB VB will be competing directly with those AC buses, if the train is able to run withing a similar time frame, then this train might have a chance. BPL-JBP will flop, baring BPL to some extent, none of the en-route stations have the merit nor calibre to fill up a VB train!
Looks like primitive TT hai ... might change... 10 min halt at ET should be reduced... Standard VB reversal time should be adopted. 4.5 hours between Bhopal and Jabalpur is still slow.. Should be reduced to 4 hours. Stops at Narsinghpur and Pipariya should be re evaluated..
Narsinghpur Pipariya halts are Ok, they can provide few number of passengers, Pipariya is the nearest station for Pachmarhi, a tourist place and hill station of MP, so Pipariya can provide a good number of passengers, JBP ET alone cannot provide sufficient passengers.
Jabalpur is a metro city.. more than 10 L of Population.. and it is one of the administrative Centre.. both the city should have good amount of affinity to fill 500 seats !
Yes but to get that many premium train passenger is not possible in this route, in this route we have RKMP-ADTL ICE, RKMP-JBP Janshatabdi and JBP-INDB Overnight as main connection, except overnight 1 can get easy confirm seats even on the day of journey in either JS or ICE, both of them show huge number of seats in current availability, halaki they run almost full everytime but the kind of passenger here are mainly GS traveller who pay the difference and get their seats, expecting a 500 seats filled by just Bhopal and Jabalpur in VB fare is not possible, even after NU and PPI halt this is going to run with vacant seats.
