•Detailed Project Report has been finalised on 15.02.2019.
•Copy of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) submitted to Government of Maharashtra for approval.
•Following are awaited from Government of Maharashtra:
•Approval of DPR
•Government Resolution for 50:50 cost sharing for the project.
Chief Minister Eknath Shinde on 20 June 2023 revived the project and now the revised cost will have to be worked out & revised proposal worked out and sent to Railway Board for approvals.

- Survey work is all wrapped up.
- Detailed Project Report was finalized on Feb 15, 2019.
- A copy of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) was submitted to the Maharashtra government for approval.
- We're waiting on the Maharashtra government to:
- Approve the DPR
- Pass a resolution for 50:50 cost sharing for the project.
On June 20, 2023, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde brought the project back to life, but now they gotta figure out the new cost and revise the plans...
