Vande Bharath is the new flavour of the season and quite welcome at that. But in the proccess has IR neglected the SLEEPER CLASS so abjectly that it is now the NEW GENERATION UR with the 3AC taking the place of SL ?
Until say about 5 years ago, I was an inveterate traveller in the SL class, but after my pitiful experiences in 12863/64 HWH-YPR-HWH Express trains I was reluctantly compelled to shift gears to 3AC. Now with 3AC gradually going the way of SL, what with WL/UR pax occupying space between the doors and blocking access to the toilets, I have recently started patronising 2A. For how long, God alone knows.

I will rather say that though the goal is Fair enough from revenue generation point of view, IR is rushing too fast.
IMHO, IR will have to standardise the CC for M/E/SFs as under :
