Yes but bypassing Chopan in current situation is not possible, bypassing Barkakhana is possible and should be encouraged rather! Ranchi Road is great replacement for Barkakhana, infact it is much better connected than BRKA. The only downside is that DHN will have to be holding trains for much longer as it has to perform watering duties on all the CIC trains
