Railways did a disgusting thing like always. They used Rajgir and Nalanda's names just for advertising. They say that the Patna - Ranchi - Patna VB makes it easy to reach Nalanda's tourist spots. Seriously? No way! The train doesn't even go near the district. It passes by stations that are about 100 km away. That can't be called connectivity. Soon they will inaugurate a VB that will pass through a station 250-300 km away from Rajgir and they will shamelessly advertise it as easy connectivity to Nalanda! It has been about 2 decades since Rajgir had a new express train service and thanks to IR, it will take another decade for that to happen. And now they are shamelessly making fun of us by using names just for advertising, which is the only thing they are good at.
