To all those people who think that IRCTC is a government endeavour,, please note that IRCTC is a website developed and managed by Tata Consultancy Services- TCS.
The Servers are kept in Gurgaon and happen to hit Indian Railway Database servers. The website handles strenous traffic during tatkaal hours and works well on most days. The problem arises during festival rush.

Sir System refresh, technically posts the data that you have already posted.. any refresh means IRCTC will log you out..
sir i am sorry but i ll post one more issue
u r telling technically and I am asking logically
if some one is not able to log in at 10am then who is responsible
and sir ur/IRCTCs seniors are accepted failure of site for heavy load.

The buck stops with the IR.People who make the decisions at the top don't have to face the difficulties that an average man faces while booking a ticket or else the infrastructure would be upgraded in no time.I am sure everyone in the I.T dept. of IR knows that the servers are over burdened and the present set up is not enough to meet the requirements but they are helpless because the files which are meant to benefit the people of this country move very very slowly,unless your name is Mr.X,Y or Z.
and IRCTC is slow in other aspects as well......if you don have an IRCTC account and are trying to Register...you can easily cook your meal before the registration page loads up.I am not blaming IRCTC but the amount of inconvenience one has to endure is unwarranted :( it's like things will only become better after people complain,struggle and protest for ages.
