Rake be small cuz before 2019 lockdown, dis train 14795 used to run as slip route from Panipat onwards. I dun think platform length be a big issue. Dis train was about to get restored (even notice be there below in dis train's forum) but politics f**ked up da train.

Rake chhota hai kyunki 2019 ke lockdown se pehle 14795 iss train ka slip route Panipat se chalata tha. Mujhe lagta hai platform ki lambai ki wajah se koi badi pareshani nahi hogi. Yeh train restore hone ke kareeb thi (is train ke forum mein notice bhi hai) lekin politics ne train ko barbaad kar diya.

Ekta can't be moved to an earlier time. It already has really weird timing from Bhiwani (04:25 AM) and you're telling me to make it even weirder (we can't extend it because of this). Just think about the timing from Hisar.

There are already 2 trains from Bikaner to Ambala (where Chandigarh is just 50 kms away and there are plenty of trains) - Train number 14888 runs daily and Train number 14717 runs three times a week. Maybe these 2 trains are meeting the demand well, which is why they haven't replaced the Barmer Slip connection from Bikaner to Chandigarh.

As for the HQ's timing, Northern Railway is capable of running VB and HQ with the time slot they have been given, so don't doubt that.

Ekta pehle slot me shift nahi ho sakti. Uski timing Bhiwani se hi ajeeb hai (04:25 AM) aur tu bol raha hai ise aur ajeeb banaye (extension isliye nahi ho sakti kyunki iski wajah se). Bas Hisar ki timing soch.

Bikaner se Ambala tak already 2 trains hai (jahaan se Chandigarh sirf 50 kms door hai aur bahut saari trains hai) - 14888 roz chalti hai aur 14717 teen din me ek baar. Shayad inn 2 trains ne demand ko acche se pura kiya hai, isliye Bikaner se Chandigarh ke liye Barmer Slip connection ke jagah koi naya train nahi chalaya gaya hai.

HQ ka slot agar NR ko diya gaya hai toh VB aur HQ ko chalane me unki capability hai, ispe shaq mat karo.

To make Himalayan Queen run, I reckon the only practical and smart option is to operate a Passenger/DEMU/MEMU train. Looking at the ticket booking trends, it seems like a good idea. Previously, when it used to run as a slip train, almost half of its coaches would stay in Panipat until the evening when HQ came back. The same can be done with a Passenger/MEMU/DEMU or they can be run on a different route from Panipat if the railway authorities think it's a good plan.

Himalayan Queen chalane ke liye, mujhe lagta hai ki 14795 ke liye ek Passenger/DEMU/MEMU train ko chalana hi sabse achha aur vyavsaayik (aur ticket booking trends dekhne par bhi accha) vikalp hai. Jab vo slip ke rup mein chalati thi, toh adhikatar uski coachon ki adhikansh sham tak Panipat mein reh jaati thi tab tak jab HQ laut aata tha, waise hi Passenger/MEMU/DEMU ke saath bhi kiya ja sakta hai ya fir agar railway ka manana hai toh unhe Panipat se kisi aur route par chala sakte hain.

Running it only up to Chandigarh ain't a good idea, man. This train picks up tourists (that's why it always has a waiting list) from Delhi all the way to Kalka. It's fine up to GGN, but beyond that, not really. The Gurgaon MP won't give a damn anyways 'cause there are plenty of AC and regular buses to Chandigarh, and the metro just makes things worse.

Chandigarh tak hi chalaana isko achha option nahi hai kyunki yeh train Dilli se Kalka tak tourists ko uthaati hai (jo is train ki waiting list ka kaaran hai). GGN tak toh theek hai yeh train, lekin us se aage nahi. Gurgaon ke MP ko koi farak nahi padega kyunki Chandigarh tak AC aur normal buses kaafi hai aur metro bhi sthiti ko aur bura kar deti hai.
