1. There are two trains on the extreme left. One has arrived at the destination and the other is at its intermediate halt.

Looking at the shadows, this seems to be an afternoon/evening pic. One of the trains is 17016 SC - BBS Visakha Express. The other one might be 12821 SHM - PURI Dhauli Express.
Correct. 17016 Visakha and 12821 Dhauli at Bhubaneswar. As you predicted, this pic is of evening, a few minutes past 5 (16.06.2023).

Boy, I can't see properly part from the goods train standing at station in the picture. You can't expect me, a nearly 70 yr old man to have good eyesight
