If WR had done gc work of Samni Jn. - Jambusar jn. - Kavi / Visvamitri jn., Bharuch to Vadodara would have an alternative train connectivity instead of going via Miyagam Karjan on MMCT - ADI line
And that Bochasan jn. - Petlad jn. - Nadiad / Anand would have got an alternative connectivity between Vasad jn. and Anand/ Nadiad besides main MMCT -ADI line
When BPQ - G - JBP line can be GCed and trains are running on that route bypassing major junctions like Nagpur, Itarsi; these routes can help...

But inko toh DFC par dhyan hai aur phir arguement dege ki enought rakes available nahi hai, slots nahi hai, cost bohot hoga, time jayega, jarurat nahi hai, chote tehsil hai revenue nahi generate kar payege aur boht sare reasons dege for NOT converting from MG/NG to BG and then dismantling the same MG/NG line ( jaise Mahuva - Velavadar MG line dismantle ho chuki hai vaise).
Vaha bhi log rehte hai which previously were using these NG/ MG trains to come to major towns on ADI line for employment and various reasons but now trains are closed aur GC ka toh pata nahi so road hi best available option hai as of now.

And if the Bochasan Junction to Petlad Junction to Nadiad / Anand route had been connected, there would be an alternative route between Vasad Junction and Anand/Nadiad apart from the main Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad line.
Just like how the BPQ - G - JBP line was converted and trains are running on that route bypassing major junctions like Nagpur and Itarsi, these routes can help to reduce the congestion on the Mumbai Central to Ahmedabad line to some extent by diverting a few trains.
But they only care about the Dedicated Freight Corridor (DFC) and then they will argue that there are not enough trains or slots available, it will cost a lot, it will take time, there is no need, the revenue generated will be low for smaller towns, and they will give many more reasons for not converting from meter gauge/narrow gauge to broad gauge and then dismantling the same meter gauge/narrow gauge line (like how the Mahuva to Velavadar meter gauge line has already been dismantled).
People live there too...

Aur agar Bochasan jn. - Petlad jn. - Nadiad / Anand ka kaam ho jata, toh Vasad jn. aur Anand/ Nadiad ke beech Vasad jn. - Anand/Nadiad ke alawa ek alternative connectivity hoti, MMCT - ADI line ke sath.
Jab BPQ - G - JBP line ka kaam ho sakta hai aur train uss route pe chal rahi hai, bypassing major junctions jaise Nagpur, Itarsi; toh yeh routes MMCT - ADI line par load kam karne me madad kar sakte hai, kuch trains ko in routes pe divert karke.
Lekin inko toh sirf DFC par dhyan hai aur phir argument denge ki enough rakes available nahi hai, slots nahi hai, cost bahut jyada hoga, time jayega, jarurat nahi hai, chote tehsil hai revenue nahi generate kar payenge aur bahut saare reasons denge NOT converting from MG/NG to BG and then dismantling the same MG/NG line (jaise Mahuva - Velavadar MG line dismantle ho chuki hai vaisa).
