It seems everyone is frustrated. Locals, tourists, migrants etc People from the coastal touristy villages turned out lucky while the vast majority has to suffer with neither good income nor facilities. The new Mopa airport is another Goan scam with the taxi fares to 10-15 km away places being higher than the 500-1000 km flight tickets itself !
Also the high per capita income figures of Goa are sort of misleading hardly anyone i know apart from govt. employees and those involved in tourism in the coastal areas.
That is the reason why many Goans have left Goa for Europe and Gulf.
