You are not understanding that Vande Bharat is a stepping stone in India's self reliance of high speed trains. You gotta understand that wherever high speed trains running are of individual train sets which removes the dependency on locomotives. The self propelled trains have potential of very high speed as of now current Vande Bharat has speed potential of 200 and upcoming will be capable of above 200 speed. We are getting shinkansen series which will operate at 320 but bullet train cannot be built everywhere we need self developed Vande Bharat sets which is our own technology. India has just started its race of self propelled high speed trains journey don't hate VB on such pity things brother.
