The current route is 2683 km. But if the run would run via Gaya-Dhanbad-Purulia, the route will be 2281 km. (short by 402 km.) and moreover both Dhanbad and Gaya will get a train for Bengaluru. But why BCR is continuously running trains via DDU-JBP route. This is the 5th spl train between Danapur and SMVT on same route via DDU-JBP
