And many things will change this year because now almost every train will get standardized CC this year with more AC coaches and less Sleeper coaches.
Still in that if train runs with 14-15 AC coaches compared to 8-10 AC coaches in other train, first train is going to earn more anyways given distance is almost comparable.

That's my point, All the Longer trains covering larger areas are on top courtesy of Berth Multiplexing. Purushottam has almost double revenue of Prayagraj Express considering almost 3x more distance covered. Nandan Kanan's lesser frequency gets written off by longer distance covered especially when you're below 491 km covering Lucknow Mail.
Depends upon section and Quota truly.
In case of Uttar Pradesh Sampark Kranti, it wouldn't matter as people will either take Sleeper Ticket having it upgraded to 3A or People won't take ticket at all.
In case of Rewa Anand Vihar Terminal Express originating from similar area, the main onus would shift on Satna and Prayagraj, which won't be an issue as they'd easily fill up excess AC Coaches.

My all time favourites Jhelum and Goa in the top 34 , which are always jam-packed throughout the year to Pune.Govt should either bring-in daily clones to them or else make weekly-biweekly trains to Daily ones.I don't think so,for the past 33 years , any daily or atleast triweekly train to Delhi From Pune, that has been introduced for the city which falls under Top 10 Metro Cities of India.
