Mehta_Udit^~ 20966 blog postsR/sir It was reported in train no 12956 jaipur s at 5.23 on 31.7.23 that there has been a firing in B 5. It was confirmed that CT chetan in escort duty has fired on escort incharge ASI tika ram. The train has arrived at BVI and as per advance information casualty of 3 civilians has also been reported, in addition to ASI. Sr DSC BCT is on way to site. The said constable has been caught at bhyander post. DCP North GRP has been informed. Detailed report to follow pls.
In an unfortunate incident on 31st July, 2023, in Train No 12956 Jaipur – Mumbai Superfast Express escorting staff constable Chetan Kumar shot at his colleague escort incharge ASI Tika Ram. The incident occurred in B5 coach at around 5.23 am. The constable upon shooting his colleague, initially held passengers at gunpoint. It is regretted that ASI Tika Ram and three passengers were shot at. Constable Chetan Kumar got down near Dahisar and tried to flee after Alarm Chain Pulling. But, was arrested by RPF/Bhayandar along with the weapon.
