New Intercity Express train will run from Ara Junction to Dhanbad Junction via Piro, Bikramganj, Sasaram Junction. New rake sent by Railway Board, the date of inauguration will be announced soon.

Dhanbad & Gaya are one of the most important station under ECR and these 2 station still lack connectivity to South India. Both don't have any train for Bengaluru.
On the other hand, ECR is running 5 spl train between Danapur & SMVT on the same route.
